A perspective by Dao Huynh, Founder/Creative Director of Third Culture VietnamBeyond Social Media
A Vision for the Next Chapter of Children Of
Children Of doesn't need better content.
It needs a stronger editorial voice.
The work is already exceptional.
The opportunity isn't creating more posts.
It's creating a reason for people to believe in the studio behind the work.
What I admire
Children Of has already earned creative respect.
Your projects are intentional.
Your visual identity is distinct.
Your reputation speaks for itself.
What excites me is the opportunity to tell the story behind the work.
Not just what you create.
But who creates it, and why.
Where I believe I can contribute
I'm interested in the Social Media Specialist role.
But I believe my greatest contribution would be as a Creative & Cultural Director.
Someone focused on building an editorial identity.
Turning Children Of from a production studio into a creative publication people return to every week.
Not because a new campaign launched.
Because they believe in what Children Of represents.
An editorial framework
Instead of posting projects...
Let's tell stories.
The People
The stories behind the creatives. Not interviews or introductions, but intimate portraits of the directors, producers, cinematographers, assistants, stylists, editors, and every person whose work shapes Children Of. Their journey, their perspective, and what inspires them to create.
The Craft
The thinking behind every creative decision. From lighting and composition to wardrobe, locations, and storytelling, exploring how ideas evolve into finished work. Less about tutorials, more about developing creative taste.
The Process
The moments most people never see. Mood boards, location scouts, casting sessions, production challenges, late night edits, and everything that happens before the final frame. Celebrating the creative process as much as the finished result.
The Culture
Conversations shaping Vietnam's creative future. Exploring the ideas, artists, filmmakers, designers, photographers, musicians, and cultural movements influencing a new generation of Vietnamese creativity, while creating a space for meaningful dialogue within the industry.
I actually think there's a fifth pillar that would make this framework much stronger, because it reflects something Children Of can uniquely own.
The Originals
Creating stories that exist because they matter. Original short films, documentaries, photo essays, and experimental projects that aren't driven by a client brief, but by curiosity, culture, and the desire to create meaningful work. These become the projects that define Children Of beyond commercial production.
Beyond a role
More than a role, I see the opportunity to build a long term creative ecosystem between our two teams.
Children Of creates extraordinary visual work.
Third Culture Vietnam has built a global community around culture, identity, and human connection.
Together, we could create original documentaries, editorial series, community events, creative conversations, and cultural projects that strengthen both brands while allowing each to remain independent.
One studio.
One community.
Shared values.
Different strengths.
Why I'm reaching out
I didn't write this as an application.
I wrote it because I believe Children Of has the opportunity to become one of Vietnam's most influential creative voices.
Whether that's through the Social Media Specialist role, a Creative & Cultural Director position, or another form of long term collaboration, I'd love the opportunity to continue the conversation.
