Marketing Assistant

Location: Saigon, Vietnam

Type: Part-Time | Hybrid Remote

About the Role:

Third Culture Vietnam is looking for a curious, organized, and creative Marketing Assistant to support our growing team.

This role is for someone who enjoys the intersection of marketing, storytelling, social media, culture, and community.

You'll help us take ideas from concept to execution across social media, campaigns, events, partnerships, Heritage Tours, and community projects.

We're looking for someone who can be creative while also being organized, communicative, and dependable.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Support day to day social media and marketing activities

  • Assist with content planning and scheduling

  • Research content ideas, trends, cultural topics, and audience interests

  • Help develop captions, copy, story concepts, and campaign ideas

  • Coordinate with our Graphic Designer and Videographer / Editor on upcoming content

  • Assist with community engagement across our digital platforms

  • Support marketing for workshops, events, Heritage Tours, and partnerships

  • Help organize content calendars, project timelines, and creative assets

  • Assist with newsletters and other digital marketing initiatives

  • Support event and production needs when required

  • Track basic content performance and identify opportunities for improvement

  • Are organized and comfortable managing multiple projects

  • Communicate clearly and proactively

  • Enjoy writing and developing creative ideas

  • Understand social media beyond simply posting content

  • Can work independently while still collaborating closely with a team

  • Are willing to ask questions and learn new skills

  • Are based in Saigon and available for occasional in person meetings, events, and projects

  • Have your own laptop

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience managing Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, or newsletters

  • Strong Vietnamese and English communication skills

  • Copywriting or editorial experience

  • Basic photography, video, graphic design, or editing skills

  • Experience with content planning or social media analytics

  • Experience supporting events or community projects

  • A passion for Vietnamese culture, diaspora stories, travel, and community building

Marketing Intern

Location: Saigon, Vietnam

Type: Part-Time | Hybrid Remote

About the Role:

Third Culture Vietnam is looking for a curious, creative, and motivated Marketing Intern to join our growing team. This internship is designed for someone who wants hands on experience in storytelling, content creation, community building, and creative marketing.

You don't need years of experience. We're looking for someone who is eager to learn, ask questions, and contribute to meaningful projects.

Throughout the internship, you'll receive mentorship while working alongside our team on content production, social media campaigns, workshops, community events, and cultural experiences.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Support content production across social media and digital platforms

  • Assist with filming, editing, and post production

  • Help develop story concepts and creative campaigns

  • Support community events, workshops, and experiences

  • Assist with marketing research and content planning

  • Collaborate with the team on day to day creative projects

You Might Be a Great Fit If You:

  • Are passionate about storytelling, culture, and community

  • Are curious and willing to learn new skills

  • Enjoy working in collaborative and creative environments

  • Can communicate clearly and work well with others

  • Have your own laptop, preferably capable of running DaVinci Resolve & Adobe Photoshop

  • Own a camera or have an interest in photography or videography

  • Experience with DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut

  • A passion for Vietnamese culture, travel, and community building

Commitment & Compensation

  • This is a 6 month, part time, unpaid internship designed for individuals who are genuinely interested in developing their skills in marketing, storytelling, and content production.

  • While this is an unpaid opportunity, approved work related expenses will be covered, including transportation and project related costs.

  • As opportunities arise, interns may also have the chance to travel within Vietnam to support productions, workshops, community events, and Heritage Experiences.

  • At the end of the internship, there may be an opportunity to transition into a paid role based on performance, team needs, and mutual fit.

Community Host

Location: Saigon, Vietnam

Type: Project Based

About the Role:

Third Culture Vietnam is looking for Community Hosts who are passionate about bringing people together through meaningful experiences.

Whether it's a workshop, dinner, creative gathering, language exchange, photo walk, or another community idea, we're here to help you transform your concept into a welcoming experience.

We're looking for people with thoughtful ideas and the desire to create spaces where conversations, friendships, and community can grow.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and host community experiences aligned with Third Culture Vietnam

  • Work alongside our team to plan and organize your event

  • Create welcoming environments that encourage participation and connection

  • Collaborate on event promotion and storytelling

  • Provide feedback to help improve future community programming

Commitment & Compensation

  • Community Hosts collaborate with Third Culture Vietnam on a project by project basis.

  • This is not a salaried position, but rather a collaborative opportunity to bring meaningful ideas and experiences to life.

  • If your proposal is accepted, we'll work with you to develop a compensation model that reflects the scope of your event, your responsibilities, and the overall concept.

  • Successful events may also have the opportunity to become recurring experiences as part of the Third Culture Vietnam community calendar.
