Licensed Tour Guide

Location: Vietnam-based (Nationwide Travel Required)

Type: Freelance / Project-Based

About the Role:

Third Culture Vietnam is seeking Licensed Tour Guides to lead meaningful, culturally grounded journeys for our travelers, with a focus on connection, storytelling, and authenticity.

Our tours go beyond sightseeing. They’re designed for diasporic travelers, curious explorers, and those looking to rediscover Vietnam through history, food, and personal stories. We’re looking for guides who can do more than recite facts, we’re looking for hosts, storytellers, and cultural ambassadors.

This role requires strong English communication, a deep love for Vietnamese culture and heritage, and the flexibility to travel throughout the country. You'll help bring each destination to life through your voice, warmth, and knowledge.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead cultural and heritage tours in various regions of Vietnam

  • Share historical, cultural, and culinary context with clarity and enthusiasm

  • Engage participants through storytelling, conversation, and lived experience

  • Ensure a smooth, safe, and welcoming experience for travelers

  • Collaborate with our team to maintain tour flow and logistics

  • Offer insight and feedback for future tour development

You Might Be a Great Fit If You:

  • Hold a valid Vietnamese tour guide license

  • Are fluent in English (Vietnamese-English bilingual preferred)

  • Have strong knowledge of Vietnamese history, culture, and cuisine

  • Are a natural storyteller and confident public speaker

  • Are reliable, patient, and calm under pressure

  • Enjoy meeting people from diverse backgrounds and creating meaningful connections

  • Are open to traveling for multi-day tours and flexible assignments

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Have experience working with Vietnamese diaspora or international guests

  • Understand the importance of ethical tourism and cultural sensitivity

  • Can support our storytelling team with local insights or on-the-ground content

Marketing Intern

Location: Saigon, Vietnam

Type: Hybrid (Part-Time)

About the Role:

Third Culture Vietnam is looking for a curious, creative, and motivated Marketing Intern to join our growing team. This internship is designed for someone who wants hands on experience in storytelling, content creation, community building, and creative marketing.

You don't need years of experience. We're looking for someone who is eager to learn, ask questions, and contribute to meaningful projects.

Throughout the internship, you'll receive mentorship while working alongside our team on content production, social media campaigns, workshops, community events, and cultural experiences.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Support content production across social media and digital platforms

  • Assist with filming, editing, and post production

  • Help develop story concepts and creative campaigns

  • Support community events, workshops, and experiences

  • Assist with marketing research and content planning

  • Collaborate with the team on day to day creative projects

You Might Be a Great Fit If You:

  • Are passionate about storytelling, culture, and community

  • Are curious and willing to learn new skills

  • Enjoy working in collaborative and creative environments

  • Can communicate clearly and work well with others

  • Have your own laptop, preferably capable of running DaVinci Resolve & Adobe Photoshop

  • Own a camera or have an interest in photography or videography

  • Experience with DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut

  • A passion for Vietnamese culture, travel, and community building

Commitment & Compensation

  • This is a 6 month, part time, unpaid internship designed for individuals who are genuinely interested in developing their skills in marketing, storytelling, and content production.

  • While this is an unpaid opportunity, approved work related expenses will be covered, including transportation and project related costs.

  • As opportunities arise, interns may also have the chance to travel within Vietnam to support productions, workshops, community events, and Heritage Experiences.

  • At the end of the internship, there may be an opportunity to transition into a paid role based on performance, team needs, and mutual fit.

Community Host

Location: Saigon, Vietnam

Type: Project Based

Third Culture Vietnam is looking for Community Hosts who are passionate about bringing people together through meaningful experiences.

Whether it's a workshop, dinner, creative gathering, language exchange, photo walk, or another community idea, we're here to help you transform your concept into a welcoming experience.

We're looking for people with thoughtful ideas and the desire to create spaces where conversations, friendships, and community can grow.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and host community experiences aligned with Third Culture Vietnam

  • Work alongside our team to plan and organize your event

  • Create welcoming environments that encourage participation and connection

  • Collaborate on event promotion and storytelling

  • Provide feedback to help improve future community programming

Commitment & Compensation

  • Community Hosts collaborate with Third Culture Vietnam on a project by project basis.

  • This is not a salaried position, but rather a collaborative opportunity to bring meaningful ideas and experiences to life.

  • If your proposal is accepted, we'll work with you to develop a compensation model that reflects the scope of your event, your responsibilities, and the overall concept.

  • Successful events may also have the opportunity to become recurring experiences as part of the Third Culture Vietnam community calendar.
