November 2026 Heritage Tour
The Stories We Carry
This is more than a journey through Vietnam.
It is an invitation to explore the stories, memories, and questions we carry with us.
Over 14 days, we'll travel from North to South Vietnam, spending time in historic cities, local communities, and the Central Highlands, where places like Đà Lạt and Buôn Ma Thuột offer a different rhythm of life and a deeper connection to culture, identity, and belonging.
Co-hosted by Jason Nguyen, founder of Nguyễn Dynasty and creator of Ngã Ba, this experience combines cultural exploration with reflection through guided journaling, small group conversations, and shared storytelling.
Because heritage is not only about understanding where we come from.
It is also about understanding who we are becoming.

Finding Home Together.
Roots, Reflection, and Return
In autumn, Vietnam slows down.
The air cools in the mountains, the coffee harvest begins in the Central Highlands, and communities gather around traditions carried forward for generations.
It is a season for reflection.
A time to share meals, listen to stories, and reconnect with what matters most.
As we journey through places like Đà Lạt and Buôn Ma Thuột, we'll explore not only the landscapes of Vietnam, but also the stories, memories, and connections that continue to shape us.
Together, we'll create space to reflect on where we come from, who we are today, and the many ways we find our way home.
Each region of Vietnam holds a different part of our story.

Itinerary at a Glance
Themes & Experiences
For our November 2026 Heritage Tour, the detailed itinerary is currently being finalized and will be shared with confirmed participants closer to departure.
This season, we'll continue our journey from North to South Vietnam while spending more time in the Central Highlands, including places like Đà Lạt and Buôn Ma Thuột, where cooler mountain landscapes, coffee traditions, and highland communities offer a different perspective of Vietnam.
Along the way, we'll explore not only the places we visit, but also the stories connected to them. Stories of family, migration, identity, resilience, and belonging.
The pace of the journey has been intentionally slowed, creating more space for reflection, guided journaling, meaningful conversations, and small group discussions. Moments of free time are woven throughout the experience, allowing guests to explore independently while remaining connected to the community around them.
Because this journey is not only about understanding where we come from.
It is also about exploring who we are, what we carry with us, and the many ways we continue finding our way home.
-
The journey begins in Northern Vietnam, where history is not something distant, but something woven into everyday life.
We'll spend time with master artisans, walk through neighborhoods shaped by generations of change, and learn from communities whose traditions continue to endure.
Along the way, we'll be invited to slow down and listen.
To the stories of others.
To the stories passed down through our own families.
And to the questions that often emerge when we begin looking more closely at where we come from.
Because every story has a beginning.
And sometimes, understanding our roots helps us better understand ourselves.
-
In Central Vietnam, we slow down and spend time with the stories that have shaped generations.
Through historic cities, cultural traditions, spiritual spaces, and hands-on workshops, we'll explore a region where the past continues to live alongside the present.
Along the way, we'll be invited to reflect on our own experiences.
The values we've inherited.
The memories we carry.
The traditions that continue to shape us, often in ways we don't fully recognize until we pause to look more closely.
Because heritage is not only something we learn about.
It is something we live with every day.
-
In Southern Vietnam, we explore a region shaped by movement, resilience, and renewal.
From the energy of Sài Gòn to the slower rhythms of life along the Mekong Delta, we'll encounter stories of migration, adaptation, and community. Stories that remind us how people carry their histories forward while continuing to build something new.
As the journey comes to a close, we'll reflect on what we've learned, experienced, and shared together.
The stories we've inherited.
The connections we've made.
And the parts of ourselves we've come to better understand along the way.
Because belonging is not always about finding a single place to call home.
Sometimes, it is about learning how to carry home with us wherever we go.
Breakout Sessions: Stories, Connection & Healing
At the heart of The Stories We Carry are our guided breakout sessions, intentional spaces for reflection, conversation, and connection.
Throughout the journey, guests will gather in small circles to explore themes of identity, belonging, family, memory, migration, and home. Through guided journaling, thoughtful prompts, and shared storytelling, these sessions create space for conversations that often don't happen in everyday life.
Co-hosted by Jason Nguyen and the Third Culture Vietnam team, these gatherings are shaped by people who understand what it means to live between cultures, navigate multiple identities, and carry stories across generations. Together, we'll explore not only the places we visit, but also the questions, experiences, and memories that connect us.
For many participants, these conversations become the soul of the journey.
A place where strangers become friends.
Where stories find language.
Where different paths reveal shared experiences.
And where people discover they are not as alone in their questions as they once believed.
True to the spirit of Third Culture Vietnam, these circles are not about having the right answers.
They are about creating space for curiosity, understanding, and connection.
Because some of the most meaningful parts of the journey happen not at a destination, but in the conversations we share along the way.
