Day One — Arrival & First Gathering

If you are arriving before March 15:

  • Check in at the hotel under your name.

  • Let the front desk know you are with Third Culture Vietnam (Dao Huynh)

  • If you arrive early and your room is not yet ready, you may store luggage at reception.

Estimated travel time to hotel: 35–45 minutes (depending on traffic)

If arranging independently:

  • Use Grab or Xanh SM (Vietnam’s ride-share app).

  • Enter: La Sinfonía Citadel Hotel & Spa

Quick Tip:
Download ride-share apps like Grab before you arrive in Vietnam. You can add your credit card in the app so you don’t need to pay cash each time. This makes airport transfers and daily rides much smoother.

Because we move frequently — from the North to Central Vietnam to the South, we strongly encourage:

  • Pack lightly

  • Aim for 1 checked bag + 1 carry-on only

  • Bring clothing that layers easily

  • Leave extra room for items you may collect along the way

Light luggage makes transitions smoother and keeps the journey comfortable for everyone. There will be time to do laundry during the tour.
