A Wellness Retreat for the Diaspora

A space to rest, reconnect, and reflect on the stories we carry.

Many of us have spent years building careers, relationships, and lives across cultures.

We've learned how to succeed.

But few of us have been given space to ask:

  • Who am I becoming?

  • What parts of my story am I still carrying?

  • What parts am I ready to release?

  • What traditions do I want to preserve?

  • What does home mean now?

This retreat creates space for those conversations through wellness practices, cultural experiences, community, and reflection.

Rather than escaping life, participants are invited to return to themselves.

Sample Retreat Flow

Day 1 | The Stories We Carry

Guests arrive at Grand Signature and settle into a slower rhythm through a welcome tea, resort orientation, and time to unwind. The evening begins with a community dinner and opening circle, where participants are invited to share what brought them to the retreat and begin building meaningful connections with one another.

Day 2 | Looking Back

The day begins with yoga and meditation, followed by guided workshops exploring identity, family history, belonging, and the stories that have shaped us. Throughout the afternoon, participants can enjoy the spa, pool, and wellness facilities before gathering for small group conversations focused on intergenerational experiences, resilience, and reflection. The evening concludes with a community dinner and optional wellness experiences such as breathwork or a sound bath.

Day 3 | Understanding Place

Participants spend the day engaging with local culture through thoughtfully curated experiences that may include village visits, artisan workshops, community storytelling, or conversations with local residents. These experiences provide opportunities to connect with contemporary Vietnam while exploring themes of heritage, continuity, and cultural preservation. The evening returns to reflection through journaling, group discussions, and conversations about the values, traditions, and stories we hope to carry forward.

Day 4 | Returning Home

The final morning offers space for meditation, personal reflection, and guided journaling before participants gather for a closing circle. Together, the group reflects on lessons learned, connections formed, and intentions for the future before departing with a renewed sense of connection to themselves, their communities, and their relationship to home.
